Important Note Prior to Registration
Every foreign student must provide the College with their first academic semester’s tuition, fees, and room and board prior to registration. Each year, the federal government estimates the total cost of living for students attending Trinity College of Jacksonville. This amount is not the cost of attendance to TCJ, but rather an estimate that includes expenses such as tuition, fees, housing, meals, transportation, healthcare, entertainment, and other miscellaneous items. For this estimate, international students living in the dorms* are required to provide evidence of financial support in the amount of $30,514 USD annually. International students are also required by law to pay their first academic semester’s tuition, fees, room and board prior to registration. *Due to housing restrictions, dorms at Trinity College of Jacksonville are available to students up to 25 years of age. Consequently, students over the age of 25 will be responsible for finding housing off-campus. Because of the costs associated with this, the government requires these students to provide evidence of financial support in the amount of $35,624 USD.
Undergraduate students must submit the official results of a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or Duolingo English Test unless the student attended a U.S. high school or college prior to enrolling at tbc for at least two years or they are a citizen of a country whose primary language is English. Arrangements to take the TOEFL can be made by visiting http://www.ets.org/toefl. Arrangements to take the Duolingo English Test can be made by visiting https://englishtest.duolingo.com/applicants. Acceptable test scores for either exam must be submitted at least one month prior to enrollment.
The file will be reviewed after all of the above materials are received. Upon acceptance, the applicant will receive the I-20 from which is needed to apply for the student visa.
1. Obtain your I-20 from Trinity College of Jacksonville.
- Fill out the Evidence of Financial Support. Students requesting an I-20 to apply for an F-1 Student Visa must show that enough money is available to pay for at least the first year of their degree program as well as the estimated living expenses for any dependents. It is assumed that this amount will be available for each additional year of study.

- Check that the information is correct on the next page.
- Choose first-class mail or expedited delivery. The credit card form has a place for the cardholder's address. You do not need to fill this in; it is not a required field.

3. Apply for your visa.
All visa applicants are required to be interviewed. You must make an appointment with your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate for an in-person interview as early as possible. Be prepared for the interview.
